Lyngenalpene
Not only the scenery of Lyngenalpene from the west bank of the Storfjord and the east bank of the Lyngenfjord is wonderful, but the mountains of the Lyngen Alpene too. A lot of the mountain tops have an height of more than 1300 m and have larger glaciers around the top. This is the reason that the mountains belongs to the polar climate zone. In Norway this climate type will be found only in the northern Finnmark and at Lyngen Alpene. The Lyngen Alpene is good for experienced mountaineers.
